The Scan Pro anti impact synthetic leather and polymer glove is designed to provide superior protection and flexibility while working in hazardous environments.

Its 4 Way Spandex construction ensures increased movement and flexibility while the TPR armoured structure protects against impacts, scrapes and knocks. The palm of the glove is constructed with synthetic leather and reinforced with polymer patches for extra durability and wear resistance with the added benefit of a PVC dot palm to provide an anti slip grip.

The adjustable hook and loop closure offers a secure fit to ensure the glove stays in place during rigorous activities.

The glove is designed to protect the user's hands from abrasion, cuts, punctures and impact while providing comfort and flexibility during extended use.

Standard EN ISO 21420

The EN 420 standard was revised in March 2020 becoming standard EN ISO 21420: 2020.

This standard defines the general requirements for protective gloves in terms of construction, fitness of purpose, safety, etc.

Standard EN388:2016

Providing protection for mechanical risks.

This standard applies to all kinds of protective gloves in respect of physical and mechanical aggressions caused by abrasion, blade cut, tearing, puncture and impact.

Protection against mechanical risks is expressed by a pictogram followed by a number rating representing test performance against a specific risk. The performance level is from 1-5, where 4 or 5 is the best result. X = not tested. P = Impact test passed.

The level of performance is based on the number of cycles/force required to penetrate the sample.

Abrasion resistance: based on the number of cycles required to abrade through the sample glove.

Blade cut resistance: based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample at a constant speed.

Tear resistance: based on the amount of force required to tear the sample.

Puncture resistance: based on the amount of force required to pierce the sample with a standard sized point.

2nd Cut resistance: based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample.

Impact protection: the area of protection is secured over a domed anvil and is impacted at an impact energy of 5J.
