Black PU Coated Gloves - Pack of 10

Description

These Scan Black PU Coated Gloves are made from knitted nylon with a seamless finish and a fine polyurethane coating over the palm and fingers. The back of the glove is uncoated to provide ventilation to the hand avoiding perspiration and clamminess. These gloves are suited to work where a high level of dexterity is needed along with a good protection factor.

Typical application include packing, inspection and fine component assembly operations.

Standard EN420

This standard defines the general requirements for protective gloves in terms of construction, fitness of purpose, safety, etc.

Standard EN388:2016

Providing protection for mechanical risks.

This standard applies to all kinds of protective gloves in respect of physical and mechanical aggressions caused by abrasion, blade cut, tearing, puncture and impact.

P = Impact P Pass or Fail

Protection against mechanical risks is expressed by a pictogram followed by a number rating representing test performance against a specific risk. The performance level is from 1-5, where 4 or 5 is the best result. X = not tested. P = Impact test passed.

The level of performance is based on the number of cycles/force required to penetrate the sample.

Abrasion resistance: based on the number of cycles required to abrade through the sample glove.

B

Blade cut resistance: based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample at a constant speed.

C

Tear resistance: based on the amount of force required to tear the sample.

D

Puncture resistance: based on the amount of force required to pierce the sample with a standard sized point.

E

2nd Cut resistance: based on the number of cycles required to cut through the sample.

F

Impact protection: the area of protection is secured over a domed anvil and is impacted at an impact energy of 5J.
