Tri Fold Valved Disposable Mask FFP3 (3)

Description

These Scan FFP3 three panel valved disposable masks are designed to cover the nose, mouth and chin. The three panel system offers a high level of manoeuvrability allowing for a better seal, and the exhalation valve makes breathing easier. They are flat folding for easy pocket storage.

The masks have elasticated retaining straps to keep them securely in place. In addition they have an adjustable nose clip and full PVC face seal for custom fitting. The non-irritating inner face piece ensures added comfort.

To be disposed of after each period of work or 4 hour shift.

FFP3 NR D
With a FFP3 protection level, these masks will protect lungs against very fine particles (less than 2 microns).

They are ideal for use with:
  • Loft insulation
  • Hardwood dust & cutting MDF
  • Stone cutting
  • Plastering

The masks conform to EN149:2001 and A1:2009.

Disposable mask protection level guide:

Non PPE

NOT for respiratory protection. Reduces discomfort caused by exposure to coarse, non-toxic particles. Also protects the work piece from exhaled breath of the wearer.

FFP1

Particles larger than 5 microns. General dust, Water based spray, Paint mist (Water based).

FFP2

Particles between 2 and 5 microns. Sanding of softwood, Hand sanding MDF, Ceramic tile dust, Cutting slabs.

FFP2 Odour

Particles between 2 and 5 microns. Solvent paint vapour (Brush applied), Metal dust.

FFP3

Particles less than 2 microns. Loft insulation, Hardwood dust & cutting MDF, Stone cutting, Plastering.
